Shura Council’s Delegation Starts Visit to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

Riyadh: The Saudi-Tajik-Uzbek Parliamentary Friendship Committee delegation in the Shura Council, led by Council Member and Committee Chairman Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba, has commenced an official visit to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with members of the corresponding parliamentary friendship committees and various officials in the two countries.

In a press statement, Dr. Al-Jarba explained that the delegation’s visit aims to strengthen cooperation in parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Parliaments of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and enhance relations and cooperation across all fields.

He emphasized the Council’s commitment to effective parliamentary diplomacy efforts, which are crucial for strengthening bilateral relations and aligning positions in international and regional parliamentary forums on various issues, ultimately serving common interests.
