‘Sorting and Coding’ Phase of Makkah Route Initiative in C´te d’Ivoire Facilitates Pilgrims’ Journey

C´te d'Ivoire: The 'Sorting and Coding' phase is a key component of the Makkah Route Initiative in the Republic of C´te d'Ivoire, aimed at streamlining travel procedures and ensuring the direct delivery of pilgrims' baggage to their places of residence in Makkah and Madinah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this phase includes the installation of an electronic identification card containing the pilgrim's flight details, personal information, and accommodation address in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An electronic sticker is also placed on the passport, along with a matching identification card issued to the pilgrim. This enables accurate tracking of baggage and facilitates the organized dispatch of buses upon arrival.

The service operates through a precise baggage-sorting system linked to pilgrims' accommodations, significantly reducing arrival procedures and enhancing the overall quality of services provided to pilgrims.
