Riyadh: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority's (SRCA) branch in Al-Jouf has intensified efforts to serve pilgrims by deploying medical teams and equipment to deliver high-level emergency services. Branch General Director Dr. Mamdouh Al-Ruwaili said the plan is being implemented through 14 emergency centers supported by 18 ambulance teams.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these teams are stationed along roads used by pilgrims heading to the Pilgrims City in Al-Shaqiq center. They primarily serve those arriving via the Jadidat Arar border crossing from Iraq and Al-Haditha border crossing from the Levant and Jordan.
Dr. Al-Ruwaili added that 100 trained volunteers are assisting in medical and humanitarian roles. These include guidance, mobile wheelchair support for the elderly and people with disabilities, and organizational assistance within the city.
