Madinah: stc Group continues to support pilgrims through an integrated system of digital solutions and advanced infrastructure powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The system facilitates pilgrims' return to Madinah after completing Hajj rituals and enhances their digital experience during visits to the Prophet's Mosque.

According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of its proactive preparations for the annual peak in pilgrim arrivals, stc Group completed a comprehensive package of technical and operational enhancements aimed at improving network efficiency and strengthening the reliability of digital services. The upgrades are designed to accommodate the expected increase in communications and data traffic during the peak visitation period.

stc expanded network coverage in the central area surrounding the Prophet's Mosque through more than 65 network sites. It also enhanced indoor coverage in hotels, residential buildings, and pilgrim accommodation facilities by deploying more than 3,500 indoor antennas (IBS), ensuring high-quality connectivity in densely populated areas and locations with heavy digital-service usage.

The group further strengthened network capabilities by deploying more than 500 advanced antennas across the courtyards and entrances of the Prophet's Mosque. The enhancements contributed to improved coverage and a better user experience and were accompanied by an 18% increase in network capacity to keep pace with growing demand for voice and data services during the peak season.

These efforts reflect stc Group's continued investment in digital and operational capabilities to serve pilgrims through advanced infrastructure and a smart operational system, ensuring a seamless and reliable connectivity experience for millions of visitors.
