Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman received Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah at Al Baraka Palace in a meeting that underscored the strong ties between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the foreign minister began the meeting by conveying greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. They expressed their hopes for ongoing progress and prosperity for the Sultan of Oman and the Omani people.
In response, the Sultan of Oman extended his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince. He also conveyed his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Saudi government and its people.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the fraternal relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments, reflecting the shared interests and cooperative spirit between the two countries.
