Dushanbe: Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda received Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Hassan Alhwaizy and his accompanying delegation of investors and government agency representatives in Dushanbe today. The discussions centered on cooperation and investment opportunities in Tajikistan, with a particular focus on sectors such as hydropower and renewable energy, industry and mining, agriculture, and tourism.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting reviewed the incentives offered to Saudi investors to encourage investment in these strategic areas. Both sides emphasized the role of the Saudi-Tajik Business Council in bolstering economic cooperation and highlighted the need to establish a direct flight route to support trade and tourism between the two countries. The prime minister expressed Tajikistan's readiness to open its airspace to all airlines interested in signing a direct flight agreement.
