Makkah: The comprehensive national application Tawakkalna is enhancing the Kingdom’s digital integration by enabling beneficiaries of the Makkah Route Initiative to view their Hajj permits electronically from their home countries. This service reflects the advanced technological system in place aimed at facilitating procedures and improving service efficiency for pilgrims from the earliest stages of their journey.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) develops and operates the digital ecosystem of the Makkah Route Initiative. The system integrates participating entities within a unified technical environment, accelerating procedures and ensuring accurate verification of data and biometric features. This system enables pilgrims to access their Hajj permits and related services through the Tawakkalna app, ensuring a seamless digital experience from departure until arrival at accommodations in Makkah.
The Tawakkalna app offers over 1,300 services in collaboration with more than 350 public and private entities. This contributes to an improved quality of life by providing easy access to services that support pilgrims during their stay. The app has a user base exceeding 35 million, with over one million active users daily.
