TEKKEN 8, PUBG Kick Off in Final Week of Esports World Cup

The eighth week of the Esports World Cup has kicked off in the group stage of the TEKKEN 8 tournaments. It expects strong matches between the best 32 players from around the world competing for the one-million-dollar prize and PUBG Battlegrounds of 24 elite international teams to try to qualify for the finals and the opportunity to obtain the largest share of the total tournament pot of $2 million.

Japan’s AO, Pakistan’s ATIF and Hafiz Tanveer, Korea’s ULSAN and his compatriot Knee performed strongly in the first group stage of the TEKKEN 8 tournament held at the Amazon Arena, scoring two unbeaten victories to qualify for the second group round.

At STC Arena, the Saudi Team Falcons came in first place at the conclusion of the first day of the group stage competitions in the PUBG Battlegrounds tournament after 16 teams from the first and second groups competed in six rounds.

The eight-week Esports World Cup competitions and its thrilling events will wrap up with a massive celebration in a specially desig
ned location for the closing ceremony, which will witness the crowning of the Saudi Team Falcons as the winner of the Esports World Cup in a festive atmosphere of fireworks, drone shows, and live music.
