Makkah: On the fifth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the supervisory teams at the Transport General Authority conducted over 9,000 inspections on various transportation methods used during this year’s Hajj season in Makkah and Madinah. During the campaign, the Authority issued over 1,000 written violations and over 280 automated monitoring violations. The compliance rate was 92%.

The violations were for various reasons, including operating a transport vehicle without a permit, employing a driver without the required permit, not adhering to the approved uniform, and not having the necessary transport documentation for goods.

This proactive approach is aimed at enhancing efficiency and service quality for pilgrims during the Hajj rituals and ensuring the uninterrupted availability of services until the end o
