The death of the pioneering plastic artist Ali Al-Taie in Baqubah

Diyala Governorate bid farewell today to the pioneering plastic artist Ali Al-Taie, who died of a terminal illness at the age of 75, full of achievements and artistic works, most notably the sculpture of the statue of the linguist Mustafa Jawad in Al-Khalis District and the statue / Al-Fellaha / in Baqubah.

Al-Taie graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in 1969. He is a member of the Syndicate of Journalists and the Association of Fine Artists. He is considered one of the pioneers of plastic arts in Diyala Governorate. He participated in more than 57 art exhibitions and won many awards, shields and certificates of appreciation.
