The Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri, stressed during a press conference held in partnership with the Undersecretary of the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Jassim Al-Attiyah, and the Director of Babylon Police, Major General Khaled Al-Shammari, the importance of ending the file of the Jurf Al-Nasr displaced persons, north of Hilla, and the return of eight thousand displaced people who have been displaced for ten years since the ISIS war.

Al-Jubouri said, “The issue of the Jurf Al-Nasr is very important and has political, economic and social dimensions, and there is a series of talks that will be held in the coming days to discuss the issue.

On the other hand, Al-Attiyah said that the current directions of the Iraqi government are to end the file of the displaced, including the file of the displaced in Jurf Al-Nasr, who live in difficult social and economic conditions, and to restore life to their residential areas, and there are a number of obstacles that the Ministry is trying to reach understandings with.
