The Intelligence Agency Arrests The Killer Of A Medical Assistant in Baghdad

The Intelligence Agency affiliated with the Ministry of Interior announced, today, Friday, the arrest of a murderer of a medical assistant in Baghdad.

A statement from the ministry said, “Under the supervision of Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, intelligence agency detachments received information that a citizen working as a medical assistant in one of the pharmacies in Baghdad Governorate was exposed to gunfire that led to his death.”

It added, “A technical intelligence work team was formed, accompanied by a special force, in partnership with the Federal Police. Within 3 hours, the agency’s detachments were able to arrest the killer and seize the firearm and everything related to the crime.”

The statement continued: “After interrogating the killer, he frankly admitted to opening fire and killing the medical assistant inside one of the pharmacies while he was doing his work. It was revealed through the investigation that there was a family dispute, and the killer was referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for his appearance before the court.”
