The Minister of Environment, Nizar Amidi, arrived today, Wednesday, in Geneva to participate in the meetings of mine affairs directors.
The Ministry of the Environment stated in a statement: “Amidi arrived in Geneva to participate in the meetings of mine affairs directors and discuss Iraq’s efforts in dealing with mines and ordnance with advisers to the United Nations Mine Action Program.”
