Mina: Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina bustled with thousands of worshippers on the Day of Tarwiyah as pilgrims arrived. The mosque's expanded space was filled with devotees experiencing a secure and faith-filled atmosphere. This year, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance completed a significant project to modernize the mosque's air conditioning system. Over 780 new air conditioners and 73 advanced air purification units were installed. This system pumps fresh air from outside at a 100% rate, maintaining a comfortable temperature of 20 degrees Celsius inside the mosque. Al-Khayf Mosque holds historical significance, having received attention from Muslim caliphs throughout history. The mosque underwent expansion in 1407 AH and boasts four minarets. Additionally, it is well-equipped with modern amenities, including lighting, furnishings, and a large bathroom complex with over a thousand toilets. Source: Saudi Press Agency
