Three Falcons Fetch SAR155,000 During International Falcon Breeders Auction

Riyadh: Three falcons were sold for SAR155,000 on the third night of the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026, organized by the National Center for Falcons at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The auction continues until August 25 amid notable attendance from falconers and visitors. According to Saudi Press Agency, the evening opened with the first falcon, a gyr-peregrine juvenile from a Spanish farm, sold for SAR42,000 to Nova Falcon. The second falcon, a peregrine juvenile from a Portuguese farm, was sold for SAR32,000 to falconer Hamid Barghash Al-Mansouri. The third falcon, a gyr-saker juvenile from a Canadian farm, opened at SAR20,000 before selling for SAR81,000 to Muqbil Abdulrahman Al-Shalawi. The auction provides a unique and trusted platform for elite falcons from around the world through a competitive live bidding process, broadcast on television channels and live-streamed on the center's social media accounts.
