Saudi Arabia’s Istitlaa Platform Seeks Feedback on 31 Projects

Riyadh:The Saudi Competitiveness and Business Center's electronic Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has announced 31 projects for public feedback, developed in collaboration with 19 government entities. These projects focus on economic and development affairs, and the platform allows stakeholders to provide their feedback before approval.

According to Saudi Press Agency, one of the projects involves the Capital Market Authority's 'Draft Regulatory Provisions for Conducting Dealing Activities in Financial Markets Outside the Kingdom,' which aims to bolster the regulatory framework for such activities. Feedback on this project is open until October 27, 2026.

Additionally, the Capital Market Authority has introduced a project on 'Regulatory Provisions for the Restrictions on Algorithmic Trading' to enhance the safety and efficiency of algorithmic trading while mitigating market risks. Public input is accepted until October 24, 2026. Another project focuses on 'Draft Regulatory Provisions Associated with the Draft to Enhance IPO Practices,' seeking to improve the IPO framework, with feedback open until October 22, 2026.

The Jouf Strategic Development Office has proposed an 'Investment Policy for Real Estate Owned by Government Entities in Al-Jouf Region.' This project aims to optimize the use of government real estate and establish criteria for investment attractiveness, with feedback closing on October 17, 2026.

The National Center for Inspection and Monitoring is seeking input on a 'Framework and Policy for Qualification and Licensing of Inspection and Monitoring Companies,' to standardize licensing and compliance processes. Feedback for this project is open until October 16, 2026.

Moreover, the Transport General Authority has put forth 'Implementing Regulations for the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code,' targeting the regulation of solid bulk cargo transport to enhance safety and environmental protection. Public response is invited until October 16, 2026.

These initiatives underscore Saudi Arabia's dedication to transparency and public participation in legislative processes, fostering engagement among the public, government, and private sector in shaping the business environment.
