Tourism Ministry Inspects Makkah’s Hajj Hospitality Preparations

Makkah: Deputy Minister of Licensing and Classification at the Ministry of Tourism Abdulmuhsen Almazyad has checked on several hospitality facilities in Makkah as part of field tours in Makkah to assess their readiness for receiving pilgrims during the 1446 AH Hajj season.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspection tour covered several hospitality establishments in Makkah, where Almazyad reviewed ongoing preparations and procedures to ensure compliance with the Tourism Law and its executive regulations, particularly concerning the requirement to obtain official licenses from the Ministry of Tourism to operate.



The ministry’s delegation also met with hospitality investors and operators at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance sustainable partnerships with the tourism sector. Discussions focused on boosting service quality in Makkah and across the Kingdom, addressing challenges faced by investors and operators, and the ministry’s commitment to overcoming these obstacles to leverage available opportunities in the sector.
