Al-qunfudhah: The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) arrested an Ethiopian national violating the Border Security Law and a Saudi citizen in Al-Qunfudhah for attempting to sell hashish and 42,600 narcotic pills.

According to Saudi Press Agency, legal action has been taken against both individuals, and their cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution. The arrests underscore the ongoing efforts by authorities to combat drug-related activities in the region.

Security authorities are urging citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or selling by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions and 999 in other parts of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the GDNC by calling 995 or emailing @gdnc.gov.sa. All information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
