ZATCA Thwarts Attempt to Smuggle over 300,000 Captagon Pills at Jadidat Arar Crossing

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle 349,710 Captagon pills at the Jadidat Arar Crossing; the pills were found hidden in a consignment of tile polishing equipment.

ZATCA coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to have four individuals who were supposed to receive the consignments arrested.

ZATCA said it is committed to intensifying customs control of the Kingdom’s imports and exports, stressing that it will stay vigilant to thwart smuggling attempts and ensure the safety of the society.
