Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index ends trading lower at 11,218 points

Saudi Stock Exchange’s main index ended trading lower today, losing 67:00 points to close at 11,218 points.

The total value of trading reported was SAR 5.5 billion, while the total number of shares traded was 190 million, reports SPA.

The Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) ended the day by losing 299,51 points to close at 20,863,29 points, with a valuation of SAR 51.1 million and an overall tally of more than 680,000 stocks.

Investing in promising talents is key to sports development, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad

Investing in promising talents is keen to supporting sport development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, said Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikh Khalid made the statement as he attended final of the Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation Basketball League for U-14 category, which opposed Al-Ahli and Sitra at Khalifa Sports City Arena.

Also present were GSA Vice chairman HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, GSA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, Bahrain Basketball Association Chairman Waleed Al Alawi and other figures.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad congratulated Al Ahli which clinched edged past Sitra 76/46 in the final match to cling the championship trophy.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa awards the Dar Kulaib Club with the 47th Crown Prince Volleyball Cup

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today attended the final match of the 47th Crown Prince Volleyball Cup held between the Dar Kulaib Club and Al-Ahli Club, at the Isa bin Rashid Volleyball Hall, Riffa.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman presented the Cup to the Dar Kulaib Club following their win over the Al-Ahli Club, by 3 sets to 1.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman commended the performance of both teams during the game and their advanced sportsmanship.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the Bahrain Volleyball Association’s (BVA) support for the sport and organising the tournament.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman congratulated the board members of the Dar Kulaib Club and their fans on the victory, noting the role of these achievements, along with the achievements of other Bahraini clubs, in developing the sport.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman awarded the Cup and medals to members of the winning team and awarded medals to the runners-up.
