Makkah, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by its branch in the Makkah region, carried out a three-day volunteer initiative for the pilgrims in the central area mosques of Makkah.

During this initiative, they distributed sun umbrellas and chilled water bottles and organized the entry and exit in women’s prayer areas to prevent overcrowding and ensure their safety.

Implemented by a team from the branch assigned to the Hajj plan, along with a group of 25 female volunteers, the initiative benefited over 18,000 male and female pilgrims.

These initiatives are part of the ministry’s mission and general objectives, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety and health of the pilgrims and protecting them from the sun, especially given the high temperatures in Makkah.
