Tunis: Director of Public Security Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Bassami led the Ministry of Interior delegation yesterday at the 49th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council in Tunisia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference gathered Arab police and security leaders to discuss emerging trends and threats posed by synthetic drugs. The participants reviewed distinguished security experiences and considered recommendations from sectoral heads and committees that convened under the General Secretariat in 2025. The agenda also included outcomes from the 48th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders, as well as the annual report of the Arab Police Sports Federation.

During the conference, the winning entries were announced in the awareness film competition, organized annually by the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council to promote security awareness.
