The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, stressed the necessity of harmonious work according to an executive plan that provides its services to the citizens of Baghdad Governorate.
The media office of the head of the State of Law coalition said in a statement: ‘Al-Maliki received the Governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, accompanied by a number of members of the Provincial Council. During the meeting, many files were discussed, including those related to the work of the local government, whose arms are the Provincial Council and whose executive arm is the Baghdad Governorate.’
The statement added: ‘The meeting touched on the political situation and future entitlements,’ indicating: ‘The people of Baghdad look to their local government and expect it to make every effort to build, rebuild, and provide infrastructure and services.’
