CEO of SFDA Explores Ways to Enhance Cooperation with Egyptian Food and Drug Regulatory Authorities in Cairo

Cairo: Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Prof. Dr. Hisham Aljadhey held a series of meetings with officials in the Arab Republic of Egypt to strengthen cooperation and promote collaboration in areas of shared interest.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prof. Dr. Aljadhey met with Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa El-Din Farouk, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh Al-Husseini. He also met with Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) Dr. Tarek El-Houby and Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy.

The discussions focused on enhancing regulatory integration between the two countries. Topics included the exchange of expertise and information, and coordination on regulatory matters related to food safety, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical devices.
