DGA Launches Fifth Edition of Digital Government Award for 2026

Riyadh: The Digital Government Authority (DGA) announced the launch of the fifth edition of the Digital Government Award 2026, aimed at encouraging government agencies, national talents, and private sector partners to adopt outstanding digital practices, contribute to the development of government services, and foster innovation across the government sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the award's fifth edition features six main categories across institutional, individual, and private sector tracks, including: Best Digital Government Service for Citizens (G2C), Best Digital Government Service for Businesses (G2B), Best Adoption of Artificial Intelligence Applications, Best Digital Partner, Best Digital Leader, and Best Rising Employee.

The authority stated that submissions will open on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and continue until the end of Thursday, August 27, 2026. Entries will be evaluated by an independent committee comprising a select group of experts and specialists, ensuring the highest standards of impartiality and transparency in selecting the winners.

Since its launch, the award has witnessed continuous development in its categories and evaluation criteria to keep pace with digital transformation objectives. Its scope has expanded to cover multiple areas that support the advancement of government services, emerging technologies, digital leadership, national digital capabilities, and impactful partnerships. The current edition introduces an enhanced government services track through the creation of two dedicated categories for individual and business services.

The award is one of the initiatives designed to promote excellence in digital government, encouraging government agencies to adopt innovative digital solutions and artificial intelligence applications, while enhancing the quality of government services and institutional performance efficiency, further strengthening Saudi Arabia's leadership in digital government.
