Riyadh: As part of the comprehensive plan implemented by the Ministry of Defense to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1446 AH, the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) is deploying an advanced aviation system designed to support security, logistical, and humanitarian operations across the holy sites. This participation is carried out in close coordination with military, security, and civilian sectors to ensure the highest standards of safety and security.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Commander of the Air Force Hajj Mission Group Brigadier General Salman bin Ali Al-Qahtani stated that the RSAF's participation is part of the ministry's coordinated plan with security and civilian authorities. This plan aims to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims while supporting various field agencies through specialized air missions, including air medical evacuation, transportation of teams and equipment, aerial surveillance and reconnaissance, and securing supply lines.
