Riyadh: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi received United Kingdom Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Neil Crompton today at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several key topics, mainly the recent developments in the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the GCC and the UK, as well as trade and investment relations and ways to strengthen them. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions emphasized the importance of the ongoing Free Trade Agreement negotiations and their potential impact on trade and investment relations between the GCC and the UK. Both parties expressed a commitment to enhancing these relations and agreed to continue their dialogue on the matter.
