Hajj and Umrah Ministry Launches 1447 AH Umrah Season with New Visa Process

Riyadh: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the commencement of the Umrah season for the Hijri year 1447, with visa issuance for international visitors starting this Tuesday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this development marks the beginning of a new season aimed at facilitating the journey for Umrah performers and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The ministry has confirmed that starting Wednesday, Umrah permits for international visitors will be issued via the "Nusuk" app, which serves as the unified digital platform for government services.

The Nusuk app allows users to easily book and obtain necessary permits, while also offering a variety of digital services designed to enhance the experience of Umrah performers. The ministry has emphasized that technical and operational preparations for the new season began early, in collaboration with relevant authorities, to ensure seamless procedures and ongoing improvements.

Additionally, efforts are being made to expand digital and awareness services in multiple languages and to uphold the highest standards of safety and comfort for Umrah performers. This initiative underscores the Kingdom's significant role in serving visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
