Hearing ‘Adhan’ on Television Inspires Italian Pilgrim’s Conversion to Islam

Makkah: Italian pilgrim Mohammed Luca, participating in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, shared his transformative journey to Islam, which commenced during his childhood after hearing the call to prayer (Adhan) on television for the first time.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Luca recounted that the sound of the Adhan deeply moved him at the age of 12, leading him to explore Islam's teachings and learn about the religion firsthand. His journey of learning and exploration persisted over several years, culminating in his decision to embrace Islam with conviction, citing the peace and clarity he discovered in the faith as pivotal reasons for his conversion.

Luca described performing Hajj through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program as one of the most profound spiritual experiences of his life. He expressed immense gratitude for the care and attention provided upon his arrival in the Kingdom, praising the comprehensive services and organization that ensured a secure and spiritual environment for pilgrims.

The Italian pilgrim also acknowledged the Kingdom's significant dedication to serving the Two Holy Mosques and caring for the pilgrims.
