The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon issued the following statement on Friday: ‘In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and backing their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on the resilient southern villages and safe homes, particularly the attack on the town of Maroun al-Ras, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Branit barracks (headquarters of the 91st Division) with heavy Borkan rockets on Friday, May 31, 2024, hitting it directly, causing it to catch fire and partially destroying it.”
