Jadidat Arar Border Crossing Welcomes First Wave of Iraqi Pilgrims

General

Arar, To extend a warm welcome to the initial group of Iraqi pilgrims, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) prepared the Jadidat Arar Border Crossing. They built a large Hajj terminal that spans over 9,000 square meters, providing ample space to accommodate more than 20,000 pilgrims daily. The terminal boasts 68 passport counters, 6 inspection areas, and state-of-the-art health and security facilities. These amenities ensure seamless procedures and deliver exceptional services to the pilgrims.

This preparation is a crucial part of ZATCA’s comprehensive plan to provide exceptional customs services across all ports. It aligns with the wise leadership’s vision to ease the Hajj journey and enhance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s status as a revered destination that embraces the holiest sites on earth.
