Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 3,255 food baskets on Wednesday across several districts and regions in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This initiative is part of a broader effort aimed at providing relief to communities severely impacted by recent floods.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution benefited 24,134 individuals identified as the most in need within the flood-affected areas. This effort is a key component of the 2025 Food Security Support Project in Pakistan, which aims to address the food scarcity issues exacerbated by natural disasters.
The distribution of food baskets underscores Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to humanitarian aid, as executed through KSrelief. These efforts are designed to mitigate the hardships faced by vulnerable populations and to provide immediate relief to those struggling in the aftermath of the floods.
