Medina: Border Guard land patrols in the Yanbu sector of the Madinah region successfully intercepted a smuggling attempt involving 24.9 kilograms of hashish. Initial legal procedures were completed, and the seized drugs were handed over to the competent authority.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the security authorities have urged citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or promotion. They can do so by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, as well as 999 and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom. The General Directorate of Narcotics Control can also be reached at their reporting number, 995, or via email. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality.
