Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) has confirmed to all its customers that the deadline for registering illegal and unregistered household connections is August 18, 2025. The company urged customers with unregistered or illegal water or sewerage connections to rectify their status quickly and take advantage of the exemption from fines and penalties before the deadline expires in the next 24 hours.

According to Saudi Press Agency, illegal and unregistered connections could affect the efficiency of water and sewerage networks, lead to inequitable distribution of water and cause overflow of the sewerage network, which has a negative impact on public health and the environment.

The company emphasized that the registration of connections and rectification of status is done through its official channels, including the NWC smartphone app and the e-branch through the official website www.nwc.com.sa. These channels operate around the clock to receive requests and inquiries.
