Makkah: The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque launched its operational plan for the 1447 AH Umrah season during a ceremony held yesterday at its headquarters in Makkah, aiming to enrich the spiritual experience of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors while providing a conducive environment for worship.
According to Saudi Press Agency, President of Religious Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais stated that the 1447 AH Umrah season plan is designed to build on the strengths of the season by prioritizing service and care for Umrah performers. The plan aims to enrich their spiritual journey as a central goal and enhance coordination with all relevant government entities and partners to ensure successful integrated efforts.
He noted that the operational plan will span eight months, divided into three phases, and will conclude at the end of Sha'ban 1447 AH, after which the plan for the holy month of Ramadan will commence.
