Riyadh Economic Forum Focuses on Economic Benefits of Upcoming Major Events

Riyadh:The Riyadh Economic Forum, in its 12th session scheduled from October 12 to 14, will focus on maximizing the economic and social returns from Saudi Arabia's hosting of Expo 2030 and the World Cup 2034. This initiative is part of efforts to advance the Kingdom's business sector, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum will discuss a study aimed at enhancing the Kingdom's image, consolidating its national identity, and highlighting its civilizational depth. The study also aims to support GDP growth, create quality job opportunities, and stimulate both domestic and foreign investment.

Additionally, the study emphasizes developing Saudi Arabia's infrastructure and digital infrastructure, boosting the transport and logistics sectors, and enhancing the competitiveness and efficiency of the national economy. The anticipated impact of these events is expected to foster a sustainable legacy, empowering people, supporting innovation, and developing partnerships between the public and private sectors.
