Saudi Arabia Engages in Global Alliance Meeting in Dublin for Two-State Solution

Dublin: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the eighth meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, held in Dublin, Ireland. The event was under the auspices of the Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and saw broad participation from member states and international partners. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom was represented by Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan. Dr. Radwan delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the Global Alliance as a platform for aligning peace tracks and ensuring their coherence and effectiveness in support of a political solution. She acknowledged the role of the United States and the efforts led by President Donald J. Trump, emphasizing that coordination with the U.S. to implement the comprehensive peace plan presents an opportunity to end the conflict and promote regional integration. Dr. Radwan emphasized the significance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution No. (2803), which serves as the legal and political reference for the current phase. The resolution is crucial for ensuring the withdrawal of Israeli forces, ending the occupation, and creating conditions for political progress. She cited Ireland's peacebuilding experience as evidence that complex conflicts can be resolved when peace processes are inclusive, reject violence, and promote dialogue. Dr. Radwan expressed concern over ongoing violations by Israeli occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement, stressing the importance of the New York Declaration, the comprehensive peace plan, and UN Security Council Resolution No. (2803). These elements together form a comprehensive framework for peace. She called for intensified diplomatic efforts, dialogue, and joint action to maintain focus on ending the conflict and achieving peace. Furthermore, Dr. Radwan highlighted the necessity to support the Palestinian National Authority by building its institutional capacities and ensuring the linkage between Gaza and the West Bank to preserve Palestinian territorial unity. She concluded by reaffirming Saudi Arabia's commitment to working with regional and international partners to achieve a just and lasting peace that fulfills the aspirations of the Palestinian people and ensures regional stability.
