Saudi Arabia Launches Sacrificial Offerings Operations for Pilgrims on Day of Sacrifice

Mecca: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's project for the utilization of sacrificial animals, known as Adahi, has commenced its operations for the Day of Sacrifice in the year 1446 AH. This initiative is part of a comprehensive system designed to assist pilgrims of the House of Allah in performing their rituals smoothly and safely.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project's general supervisor, Mr. Saad Al-Wabil, detailed that the operations involve the functioning of seven complexes. These are set to provide services to the Guests of Allah, with the support of 25,000 personnel from diverse fields such as administration, technology, medicine, and engineering. The system is designed to ensure seamless operations, facilitating pilgrims while adhering to optimal environmental practices.

Al-Wabil emphasized the project's strict adherence to Sharia and health requirements throughout the ritual process, from slaughtering to distribution. The meat is delivered to those eligible, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to supporting pilgrims and ensuring their rituals are performed in a comfortable and reassuring environment. This aligns with the aspirations of pilgrims to conduct their rituals with ease and safety.

The project's objective is to process 950,000 heads of livestock within 84 hours, thereby serving pilgrims effectively while prioritizing their comfort and the ease of ritual performance. Notably, Adahi offers services for purchasing and slaughtering sacrifices electronically, in compliance with Sharia provisions. This process ensures that the meat is distributed to those in need, promoting social solidarity and enhancing human values.
