Makkah: The Information Technology Committee at the Public Service Camps, organized by the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association, has launched the "Technology Hall" for this year's Hajj season. This advanced digital operations room is designed to manage field operations in real-time, with the general supervisor or commander of the camps monitoring the progress of work.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Abdulmajeed Al-Madh'our, head of the Information Technology Committee at the camps, highlighted that the hall, established for the first time in the history of the Public Service Camps, signifies a qualitative leap in digital transformation. It serves as a central hub for managing and operating technical and information services, contributing to the automation of information and acceleration of procedures. The operations room receives reports instantly from various entities, such as the Command and Control Center (911), and processes them using artificial intelligence to enhance service efficiency.
Al-Madh'our noted that the technical hall has successfully reduced the steps of processing (911) reports from five to only two, improving response times and field work efficiency. The technical support system is now accessible to every scout leader via a website, allowing for immediate handling of direct tickets and electronic management of protection reports.
He emphasized that this initiative embodies the digital transformation efforts of the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association, enhancing field work efficiency and technical readiness in serving pilgrims during the Hajj season. The hall manages wireless communications with all camp committees, acting as a central reference for field activities through integrated information technologies and real-time documentation.
