Riyadh: The Saudi Bar Association launched its sixth legal volunteering marathon yesterday in a digital format, coinciding with World Law Day on September 13. This initiative spans 10 days and is designed to promote legal prevention, raise public awareness, and empower community members with knowledge of their rights and duties. The marathon aims to reinforce preventive justice and highlight the social responsibility of lawyers, while enhancing the profession's image as a community service provider.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this year's marathon seeks to engage over 300 volunteer lawyers. The initiative plans to provide more than 1,550 legal consultations and offer over 50 courses and workshops for over 23,000 individuals. Additionally, there will be 70 programs featuring more than 55 speakers, all contributing to the marathon's comprehensive outreach and educational efforts.
