Saudi Scout Delegation Showcases Authentic Folk Heritage at World Jamboree Cultural Exchange

Jakarta: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is participating in the World Muslim Scout Jamboree 2025, hosted by the Indonesian capital Jakarta. The event is jointly organized by Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School, the World Islamic Union of Scouts and Youth (WIUSY), and the Indonesian Scout Movement, in celebration of the centennial of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the cultural exchange event, which began yesterday, saw a remarkable presence of the Saudi delegation, which presented a comprehensive display of authentic folk heritage. Visitors were welcomed with Saudi coffee, a symbol of generosity and authenticity, accompanied by selected varieties of dates that reflect the diversity and quality of Saudi produce.

The Saudi participation received wide interaction from the delegations and audience, embodying the Kingdom's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage and introducing it to the world through global gatherings. The presentation also reflected the Kingdom's message of promoting civilizational communication and fostering closeness among peoples.

The event will continue until tomorrow as part of the camp program, which features diverse performances from various participating countries.
