Jazan: Security patrols in the Jazan region have successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle 23,232 tablets, which are subject to medical circulation regulations, along with 15 kilograms of hashish in Fifa Governorate. The intercepted contraband has been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation and processing.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the security forces in the area are actively working to combat drug smuggling and related activities. Authorities have urged both citizens and residents to report any information regarding drug smuggling or promotion. Individuals can report such activities by calling specific numbers: 911 in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in other regions of the Kingdom. Additionally, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control can be reached at 995, with assurances that all reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
