Riyadh: AlUla's public parks are witnessing the implementation of several sustainable development projects aimed at preserving local vegetation and enhancing the area's aesthetics in harmony with its environmental identity and heritage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these projects include intensive planting of local plants, developing green infrastructure using modern and environmentally friendly irrigation techniques, and rehabilitating the natural components of public parks to ensure their sustainability and increase the efficiency of their use in line with approved environmental standards.

The initiatives include the design of paths and public facilities that enhance the visitor experience, provide a recreational and cultural environment that respects the site's uniqueness, contribute to supporting biodiversity, and mitigate adverse environmental impacts.
