The FM Receives A Phone Call From His British Counterpart Offering Condolences Over Al-Hamdaniya Fire Incident

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received today, Thursday, a phone call from British Foreign Minister James Cleverly, offering his condolences for the tragedy of al-Hamdaniya fire in Nineveh Governorate, which claimed the lives of dozens of citizens, expressing the solidarity of the United Kingdom, government and people, with the people and government of Iraq.”.

In another aspect of the phone call, the British Minister touched on the Iraqi regional situation, and the two ministers discussed some related issues.

Cleverly stressed, according to a Foreign Ministry statement: “The British government looks forward with confidence to the Iraqi government’s policy aimed at resolving problems wisely and by adopting dialogue as a way to do so.”
