Washington: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef participated in a panel discussion organized by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., focusing on Saudi Vision 2030 in its tenth year. During the session, Alkhorayef highlighted achievements under the Vision since its launch and the qualitative transformations across its successive phases in various fields. He affirmed that the Vision reflects the maturity of the Saudi experience as an effective development model on a global scale.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister said the Vision represents a comprehensive strategic framework for economic transformation that has strengthened the resilience of the national economy, opened new horizons for international partnerships, and reinforced the Kingdom’s position as a reliable partner in supply chains and future industries.
Alkhorayef also highlighted rapid growth and progress in the industrial and mining sectors since the launch of the Vision, as well as strategies related to both sectors. He noted significant advances in developing national capabilities, enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi industries, expanding the production base, and improving the legislative and investment environment to support sustainable growth in both sectors.
The minister stressed that industry and mining are key pillars of the economic transformation driven by the Vision. He also pointed to a range of enablers and initiatives launched by the industrial and mining system to attract local and international investments.
