Doha, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, arrived in Qatar today to attend the final of the Asian Men’s Handball Qualification Tournament for the 2024 Paris Olympics between Bahrain and Japan.
Upon arrival, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad was welcomed by Shaikh Thani bin Hamad Al Thani.
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid expressed pride in the solid fraternal relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar at all levels, and in all fields, including sports.
HH Shaikh Khalid lauded Qatar’s outstanding success in hosting the Asian Men’s Handball Qualification Tournament for the 2024 Paris Olympics, consolidating its status as an important centre for mega sports championships, wishing the Qatari leadership, government and people further progress and prosperity.
